Hold Your Man (1933)

Director: Sam Wood
Starring: Jean Harlow, Clark Gable, Stuart Erwin
Synopsis:
A woman falls for a con man and gets sent to a reformatory when a failed blackmail scheme ends in manslaughter.
Impressions:
This film has two phases. The first has the two leads' conning others and romancing each other. The second has the melodrama of the female lead in the reformatory. There's some fun with Jean Harlow and Clark Gable's interaction in the first part and the second provides and interesting look at reformatories. It's a decent enough film. Not exceptional but not a bad watch.
